Melitta 630-212 espressokeitin 1,8 L

The Melitta 630-212 is a fully automatic espresso machine designed for home and small-office use. It features a 1.8 L removable water tank, a built-in ultra-quiet conical steel burr grinder with a 135 g bean container, and a real-image TFT colour display with One Touch operation for preparing up to 12 coffee recipes. The black appliance supports the use of whole beans or pre-ground coffee, offers adjustable brewing strength and grind settings, and delivers up to 1400 W of power to heat water quickly for espresso, café crème, cappuccino, latte macchiato and other specialties.

Advantages

The integrated grinder grinds fresh beans on demand and the Bean to Cup process ensures each drink uses only the required amount of coffee for consistent flavour. The dual-chamber bean container and Manual Bean Select let you use two different bean varieties without changing containers. A range of adjustable parameters — brewing strength, grind fineness, temperature and portion size — plus the ability to save personalised profiles for up to six users provide repeatable results. A height-adjustable all-in-one outlet fits cups and tall glasses, while the TFT display with sensor fields and photo-realistic preparation videos supports intuitive, one-touch operation.

Suitable for

• Home kitchens and small office environments where multiple users want customised coffee profiles

How to use

Fill the 1.8 L water tank and choose beans in the dual-chamber container or add ground coffee via the integrated chute. Use the TFT touch display to select one of the 12 pre-set recipes or to dial in custom settings for grind, strength, temperature and volume. For milk beverages, connect the removable milk container and select the desired milk or foam option. The machine grinds only the beans required, pre-infuses the coffee and then brews according to the selected profile. After preparation, follow on-screen prompts for cleaning or descaling and use the Easy Steam Cleaning function to flush milk system parts.

Recommendations

Use fresh whole beans stored in a cool, dry place and change the dual-chamber selection as needed for different blends. Rinse and clean the removable brewing unit regularly, follow the display-guided maintenance prompts, and consider using a compatible water filter to reduce descaling frequency and protect the internal water circuit. For dairy or plant-based milk care, run the Easy Steam Cleaning cycle after each milk-based drink and wash removable milk parts as instructed.
