Näyttöadapteri Renkforce 1404074 DVI-I Dual Link (pistoke) HD-15 VGA-adapterikaapeliin

The Renkforce Display adapter 1404074 converts a DVI-I Dual Link male output to an HD-15 VGA connector, enabling a physical connection between devices with combined digital/analog DVI outputs and analog VGA displays or projectors. The adapter cable is designed to pass the analog VGA signal available on DVI-I ports, allowing video transmission to legacy monitors and presentation equipment that use a standard 15-pin VGA interface. The compact, cable-style adapter provides a straightforward solution for environments where a DVI-I source must drive an analog display without changing the source or the display.

Advantages

This adapter supports the analog VGA signal present on DVI-I Dual Link outputs, providing direct compatibility with VGA displays and projectors without active signal conversion. Its simple cable form factor is lightweight and easy to route in installations or portable setups. The adapter requires no external power or drivers and establishes an immediate physical connection between the DVI-I source and the HD-15 VGA sink.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DVI-I Dual Link output on a PC or graphics card to a VGA monitor
• Driving VGA projectors from DVI-I equipped laptops or desktop systems during presentations
• Integrating older VGA displays into mixed-equipment installations
• Temporary or portable connections in classrooms, meeting rooms and trade-show booths

Key specifications

• Connector A: DVI-I Dual Link, male, carries analog and digital signals; used here for analog VGA pinout
• Connector B: HD-15 (VGA), female 15-pin analog VGA connector
• Cable type: short adapter cable designed for direct signal pass-through
• Signal type supported: analog RGB video from DVI-I analog pins to VGA
• Power: passive, no external power required

How to use

Plug the DVI-I male end into the source device’s DVI-I Dual Link output, ensuring the connector is fully seated. Connect the HD-15 VGA end to the VGA input of the monitor or projector, and secure any thumbscrews if present to prevent accidental disconnection. Set the display input on the monitor or projector to VGA and configure the source device’s display settings as needed for resolution and refresh rate. Because the adapter passes the analog signal only, ensure the source’s DVI port exposes the analog pins (DVI-I); a DVI-D-only output will not provide a VGA signal.

Recommendations

Use this passive adapter where the video source provides an analog signal via a DVI-I connector and the target device accepts VGA. For optimal image quality, match resolution and refresh rate settings between source and display, and avoid using this adapter for digital-only DVI outputs. For long cable runs or when connecting to digital-only displays, consider an active converter instead.
