Neutraalitiheyssuodatin Freewell ND32 Mini 5 Pro — ND32 optinen suodatin

The Freewell ND32 neutral density filter for the Mini 5 Pro reduces incoming light by 5 stops, enabling slower shutter speeds or wider apertures in bright conditions. Designed for aerial and handheld photography and videography with the Mini 5 Pro, this optical ND filter helps control exposure, minimize overexposure in daylight, and produce smoother motion blur for cinematic footage or long-exposure effects. The filter mounts to compatible lens assemblies and is intended to preserve color balance and image sharpness while reducing light transmission.

Advantages

The ND32 filter offers consistent 5-stop attenuation across the visible spectrum to allow predictable exposure adjustments without introducing noticeable color casts when used correctly. Its optical construction aims to maintain image clarity and edge-to-edge sharpness while reducing flare and internal reflections. The filter’s physical design is tailored for quick attachment to the Mini 5 Pro compatible lens system, facilitating fast changes between clear and filtered shooting conditions.

Key specifications

• Light reduction: 5 stops (ND32)
• Optical type: neutral density glass/plastic optical element
• Designed compatibility: Mini 5 Pro lens assemblies
• Effect on exposure: allows slower shutter speeds or wider apertures in bright conditions
• Color neutrality: engineered to minimize color shift
• Mounting: quick-attach design for compatible lens mount

How to use

Attach the filter to the compatible lens assembly of the Mini 5 Pro according to the drone or lens manufacturer’s mounting procedure. Meter or use camera exposure tools to set the desired shutter speed and aperture after accounting for the 5-stop light reduction: for example, increase exposure time or open the aperture by five stops relative to the unfiltered exposure. Check live histogram and highlights to confirm proper exposure and adjust ISO as needed. Remove the filter when returning to low-light situations to restore full light transmission.

Recommendations

Use the ND32 filter when shooting outdoors in bright daylight to achieve natural motion blur at cinematic frame rates or to enable wider apertures for shallow depth of field. Verify white balance after mounting to ensure neutral color rendering, and clean the filter surface with a lint-free cloth before use to avoid artifacts. Avoid stacking multiple dense filters to prevent vignetting or image quality degradation.
