Northwave Striker Sand MTB/gravel-pyöräilykengät EU 45

The Northwave Striker in Sand stands apart from typical MTB shoes by combining a sleek unibody upper with a precise SLW3 dial closure, delivering a fit that feels custom without the usual bulk. Built for cross-country, gravel, and everyday trail riding, it balances stiffness and walkability, making it a versatile choice for riders who demand performance both on and off the bike.

Highlights

• SLW3 dial plus single Velcro strap for micro-adjustable, secure closure
• XC 10 carbon-reinforced sole with stiffness index 10 for efficient power transfer
• SPD 2-bolt cleat compatibility for widespread pedal system support
• Laser-perforated unibody upper enhances ventilation and reduces pressure points
• TPU inserts on sole provide traction and durability when walking
• Integrated heel system locks the foot in place to prevent slippage
• Unisex design with a modern sand colourway that resists visible dirt

In daily use

On the trail, the Striker feels responsive without being harsh. The XC 10 sole offers a stiffness index of 10 out of 15, meaning you get solid pedalling efficiency while retaining enough flex for short hike-a-bike sections. The SLW3 dial lets you fine-tune tension on the fly, even with gloves on, and the Velcro strap adds extra security across the forefoot. The perforated upper keeps airflow moving, so your feet stay cooler on long summer rides, while the synthetic material is easy to wipe clean after muddy adventures.
