Oskillaattorimoduuli Behringer 1004 2500 Series analoginen VCO-moduuli modulaarisiin syntetisaattoreihin

Behringer 1004 2500 Series Oscillator Module is an analog voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) module designed for modular synthesizer systems. It serves as a primary sound source, generating standard audio waveforms with stable pitch response for use in sound design, studio production and live performance. The module is intended to integrate into compatible 2500-style racks and expand synthesis possibilities by providing a reliable oscillator voice with control over frequency and waveform output.

Advantages

The analog VCO architecture delivers classic oscillator behavior with predictable tuning and musical response. Compact format and panel controls allow straightforward integration into modular setups while preserving front-panel accessibility for real-time adjustments. The unit's waveform outputs provide a range of raw audio signals suitable for further shaping with filters, envelopes and modulation sources. Its design focuses on interoperability with other modular gear and consistent performance in both studio and stage environments.

Suitable for

• Modular synthesizer rigs requiring an analog VCO voice
• Sound designers creating raw waveform material for synthesis and sampling
• Studio producers seeking hands-on oscillator control for patching and layering
• Live performers needing stable pitch sources that respond to control voltages

Key specifications

• Analog voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) topology
• Standard audio waveform outputs suitable for patching and processing
• Front-panel frequency/pitch control and CV input for external control
• Compact module size compatible with 2500-style modular racks
• Designed for integration with other modular synthesis modules and control voltages

How to use

Install the oscillator module into a compatible 2500-style rack following the rack manufacturer's mounting and power guidelines. Use the front-panel frequency control to set the basic pitch and connect control voltage sources to the CV input for pitch modulation or keyboard tracking. Patch waveform outputs to filters, mixers, amplifiers or modulation destinations to shape the sound. For stable tuning, allow the module to warm up briefly and calibrate pitch with reference tones or a tuning source if required.

Recommendations

Use the oscillator with a variety of downstream modules—filters for timbral shaping, envelope generators for amplitude contouring and VCA stages for level control—to achieve coherent patches. When performing live, route a stable CV source or sequencer to the CV input and verify output levels before amplifying to avoid unexpected signal peaks.
