Pintasuojakalvo Tesa Surface Protection Film tesa 4848 läpinäkyvä

Tesa Surface Protection Film tesa 4848 Transparent is a clear, self-adhesive protection film designed to shield smooth substrates from scratches, dirt and minor mechanical damage during storage, transport and installation. The product adheres reliably to glass, metal, painted and many plastic surfaces, providing temporary protection while remaining visually unobtrusive. The film removes cleanly without leaving adhesive residue, helping to preserve the appearance of protected items and reduce time spent on cleaning or rework.

Advantages

The transparent film offers easy application and controlled adhesion that sticks securely to smooth surfaces yet peels off cleanly. Its clarity preserves the visibility and aesthetics of the underlying material while protecting against abrasion, dust and light impact. The material is flexible enough to conform to flat and slightly curved surfaces and is suitable for repeated short-term protection cycles. The low-residue adhesive reduces the risk of surface damage or additional cleaning after removal.

Suitable for

• Temporary protection of glass panes and windows during construction or renovation
• Protection of painted metal parts and profiles during transport and assembly
• Shielding plastic panels, acrylic sheets and laminated surfaces from scratches
• Protecting appliances and finished products while stored in warehouses

Key specifications

• Appearance: Transparent protective film
• Adhesion: Low-residue pressure-sensitive adhesive formulated for smooth substrates
• Suitable substrates: Glass, metal, painted surfaces, many plastics
• Application type: Temporary surface protection for storage, transport and installation
• Removal: Clean peel-off without leaving visible adhesive residue when used under recommended conditions
• Form factor: Flexible film able to conform to flat and slightly curved surfaces

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust, oil or other contaminants before application. Unroll or cut the required length of film and apply it to the surface, smoothing out air pockets and wrinkles with a soft squeegee or cloth. For curved or profiled areas, apply gradually and press the film into shape without overstretching. To remove, peel back a corner and pull slowly at a low angle to separate the film from the substrate; removal is easiest when the film is not exposed to prolonged high temperatures or direct sunlight.

Recommendations

Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and temperatures outside the manufacturer's recommended range. Avoid application on porous or rough surfaces where adhesion and residue performance cannot be guaranteed. For long-term outdoor exposure or applications on sensitive coatings, test a small area first to confirm compatibility.
