PIR-liiketunnistin MACLEAN MCE358 B/B – passiivinen infrapunatunnistin sisäkäyttöön

MACLEAN MCE358 B/B is a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor designed for indoor monitoring and automation. The sensor detects changes in infrared radiation produced by moving heat sources, enabling automatic control of lighting and basic presence detection. Compact and intended for ceiling or wall mounting in residential and commercial interiors, this PIR motion sensor is suitable for use in corridors, offices, storage areas and other indoor spaces where reliable motion-based switching is required.

Advantages

The MACLEAN PIR motion sensor provides uncomplicated motion detection using passive infrared technology, offering low power consumption and minimal maintenance since there are no moving parts. Its design allows discreet installation on ceilings or walls and integration with lighting circuits or simple alarm systems. The device supports automatic switching to improve energy efficiency and reduce wasted lighting in unoccupied spaces, while maintaining straightforward operation and reliable detection of human movement within its coverage area.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the PIR motion sensor at a recommended height for the intended coverage area, typically on a ceiling or high on a wall, following local electrical regulations and wiring practices. Connect the sensor to the lighting circuit or alarm input according to the installation guide provided with the product, ensuring power is isolated during wiring. After installation, test the detection zone by walking through the area to confirm reliable switching behaviour and adjust placement if necessary to avoid blind spots or unwanted triggers from heating sources or direct sunlight.

Recommendations

Place the sensor away from direct air vents, heating units and windows to reduce false triggers. For optimal energy saving and detection accuracy, combine the sensor with appropriate lighting controls or timers and perform periodic checks to ensure correct alignment and function.
