Puukkosahanterä Bosch 2 608 650 464

S 644 D — HCS sabre saw blade for side set, ground teeth. Designed for cutting construction wood (thickness up to 100 mm), wooden walls (up to 100 mm), chipboard and MDF panels (6–60 mm), plywood and plastics (up to 100 mm). Especially suitable for plunge cuts. Compatible with most sabre saws; made by Bosch, model 2 608 650 464 (EAN 3165140515320).

Advantages

The HCS material and ground, side-set teeth provide long-lasting cutting performance and relatively smooth cut surfaces in wood-based materials and plastics. The blade geometry is optimised for plunge cutting and makes it easier to start cuts without pre-drilling. Universal fit ensures compatibility with a wide range of sabre saws.

Suitable for

• Construction timber and framing (≤100 mm)
• Wooden partition walls (≤100 mm)
• Chipboard and MDF panels (6–60 mm)
• Plywood and plastic sheets (≤100 mm)
• Plunge cuts where a fast start is required

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: Bosch
• Model / MPN: 2 608 650 464 (S 644 D)
• EAN: 3165140515320
• Material: HCS (high carbon steel)
• Tooth set: side set, ground teeth
• Recommended material thickness: up to 100 mm (timber, plywood, plastic); 6–60 mm (chipboard, MDF)
• Application: plunge cuts, general wood and plastic cutting

How to use

Install the blade in the sabre saw according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the blade is securely locked. For plunge cuts, start the saw at low speed to engage the material, then increase speed as the blade establishes the cutting line. Use steady, even feed pressure; avoid forcing the blade to prevent bending or premature wear. Replace the blade when cutting performance or cut quality declines.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye and hearing protection, gloves) and ensure the workpiece is securely clamped. Select a blade length suitable for the material thickness and check compatibility with your sabre saw before use.
