Embark on a perilous quest

Explore the magical land of Talisman! Battle enemies, go on quests, and reach the Crown of Command to defeat its guardian and become ruler!

Play as a powerful character

Choose from one of 12 characters – Warrior, Sorceress, Elf and more – each with special powers. Then select an alignment of good, neutral or evil.

Journey to three magical regions

Roll a die and travel the board, visiting ever more dangerous locations. Build up strength and craft points and collect objects and spells as aid.

Battle other characters and creatures

Take on other characters and creatures, from monsters to dragons. Use a character’s abilities, cast spells or employ objects to win battles.

Don’t get turned into a toad

In this edition, when a player’s character is turned into toad, they lose one turn only. Their objects and gold transform and revert back with them.

Who will prove their worth?

Be the first to reach the Crown of Command, using the crown's power to eliminate others and win!We endeavour to provide accurate information, but the products, names, colours and materials are subject to change without notice. How to use

Integrate the expansion by shuffling the new cards into the corresponding decks of the Talisman 5th Edition base game and adding the character cards to the character pool. Follow the included instructions to set up scenario-specific elements and to apply new rules or card effects. Use the expansion components when running standard Talisman sessions to introduce additional challenges and options; the base game's rulebook remains the primary reference for core gameplay.

Recommendations

For balanced play, introduce one new element at a time—such as a small subset of character cards or a single scenario—so players can adapt to new interactions. Keep the base rulebook at hand to resolve core mechanics and refer to the expansion insert for card-specific clarifications.
