Sähkökäyttöinen moottorisaha Makita UC023GT101 40 V, 35 cm terälevy

Makita UC023GT101 is a 40 V cordless electric chainsaw with a 35 cm guide bar designed for cutting firewood, pruning branches and light felling. The battery-powered design removes the need for fuel mixing or a mains cable, offering mobility for garden and small-hold maintenance. The compact body, built-in chain brake and tool-less chain tensioning make routine use and basic maintenance straightforward for non-professional users.

Advantages

The electric chainsaw delivers cordless operation with consistent power from a 40 V system and a 35 cm guide bar suitable for medium-thickness timber. A compact, balanced housing improves handling during repetitive tasks. Safety features include a chain brake to reduce kickback risk and a front hand guard. Tool-less chain tensioning and accessible chain lubrication simplify adjustments and upkeep without special equipment.

Suitable for

• Cutting and splitting firewood for domestic heating
• Pruning and trimming trees and shrubs around home gardens
• Light felling of small trees and clearing storm-damaged branches
• Maintenance work on small farms and residential properties

Key specifications

• Power system: 40 V battery
• Guide bar length: 35 cm
• Chain brake: mechanical front brake
• Chain tensioning: tool-less adjustment
• Design: compact and balanced housing for improved handling

How to use

Before use, ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted according to the tool’s instructions. Check chain tension and bar lubrication; adjust the tool-less tensioning mechanism if the chain appears loose. Hold the chainsaw with both hands on the designated grips, maintain a stable stance and keep bystanders at a safe distance. Engage the chain brake when moving between work areas. Operate at steady speed appropriate for wood thickness, allowing the chain to cut without forcing. After each session, switch off the tool, remove the battery and inspect the chain and bar for wear or damage.

Recommendations

Use compatible Makita 40 V batteries and the manufacturer’s recommended chain oil. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment — gloves, eye protection, hearing protection and cut-resistant clothing — and follow local safety regulations. For prolonged cutting or felling larger trees, consider a higher-capacity saw or professional assistance. Regularly clean the saw’s air intakes and sprocket area and perform periodic chain sharpening to maintain cutting performance.
