Sähkökäyttöinen moottorisaha Makita UC026GT101 40 V, 40 cm terälevy

The Makita UC026GT101 electric chainsaw is a cordless 40 V tool designed for garden maintenance and light to medium cutting tasks. Equipped with a 40 cm guide bar, this chainsaw balances portability and cutting capacity for pruning, firewood preparation and general outdoor use. The tool is intended for homeowners and hobby gardeners who need a reliable, battery-powered alternative to petrol chainsaws.

Advantages

The cordless 40 V power system provides freedom of movement without a power cable while maintaining consistent cutting performance suitable for moderate workloads. The 40 cm bar delivers a practical cutting length for logs and larger branches, and the electric drive reduces vibration and immediate exhaust emissions compared with petrol models. Design features support straightforward chain tensioning and routine maintenance, contributing to predictable operation and lower day-to-day upkeep.

Suitable for

• Cutting firewood and splitting logs to manageable lengths
• Pruning medium branches and general tree maintenance
• Garden clearing and trimming of overgrown shrubs
• Light to medium backyard or property maintenance tasks

Key specifications

• Power system: cordless battery operation (40 V platform)
• Guide bar length: 40 cm for moderate cutting depth
• Intended use: light to medium cutting tasks, pruning and firewood processing
• Tool type: electric chainsaw with reduced vibration compared to petrol models
• Portability: cable-free operation for use around properties and remote garden areas

How to use

Before each use, inspect the chain tension and bar for wear, and ensure the battery is charged according to the battery system instructions. Fit the battery and confirm all safety interlocks are functional. Hold the saw with both hands, position the bar against the cutting point, and apply steady, even pressure while allowing the chain to cut without forcing. Follow safe cutting angles and support the wood to prevent pinching. After completing cutting, allow the chain to stop fully before setting the tool down, then perform a brief inspection and cleaning of sawdust and debris.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves and hearing protection. For extended cutting sessions, alternate tasks and allow the battery to cool between charges. Choose bar and chain lubrication as specified by the manufacturer and maintain proper chain sharpness to ensure efficient, safe cutting performance.
