Why choose it

The Supercross 4 GTX is purpose-built for messy conditions. Its deep, widely spaced lugs shed mud instantly, while the GORE-TEX lining blocks water without sacrificing breathability. The EnergyCell™+ midsole absorbs impact on hardpack and rocks, and the Quicklace™ system lets you adjust fit on the fly—even with cold, wet fingers. From weekend trail runs to multi-day adventures, this shoe delivers reliable performance when the forecast looks grim.

Ideal use cases

• Trail running on muddy, technical, or mixed terrain
• Wet-weather training and races
• Hiking and fastpacking on rugged paths
• Everyday trail use where waterproofing is essential

Good to know

Salomon recommends ordering your regular running shoe size. The Quicklace™ system includes a lace pocket on the tongue to keep laces secure and out of the way. For best results, pair with merino wool or synthetic socks to maximize moisture management. The GORE-TEX membrane is designed to be durably waterproof, but regular cleaning and reproofing will extend its life.
