Salomon X Ultra 5 GTX miesten vaelluskengät - musta

The Salomon X Ultra 5 GTX redefines agility on the trail, blending the lightweight, nimble feel of a trail running shoe with the stability and protection of a hiking boot. Unlike bulkier alternatives, it uses an Advanced Chassis™ and a 5 mm lug depth to keep you sure-footed on mixed terrain without weighing you down. The GORE-TEX® membrane delivers reliable waterproofing while remaining breathable, and the PFC-free treatment adds an eco-conscious edge. Whether you're fastpacking, day hiking, or tackling technical backpacking routes, this shoe offers a precise, stable fit that moves with you.

Highlights

• GORE-TEX® waterproof/breathable membrane
• All Terrain Contagrip® outsole with 5 mm lugs for grip on loose, wet, or hard surfaces
• EnergyCell™ EVA midsole for cushioned, responsive strides
• Advanced Chassis™ for lateral stability and motion control
• Protective toecap and mudguard shield against rocks and debris
• PFC-free construction for reduced environmental impact

In daily use

From the first step, the X Ultra 5 GTX feels secure and energetic. The standard fit accommodates most foot shapes, while the regular lacing system allows quick, personalized adjustment. The synthetic/textile upper resists abrasion and dries quickly after stream crossings. A heel-to-toe drop of 11 mm promotes a natural rolling gait, reducing fatigue on long descents. The 370 g (per shoe, US 9) weight keeps the shoe light enough for fast movement, yet the high foot protection level inspires confidence on rocky, technical terrain.
