Sarjakaapeli ShiverPeaks BS78022-7 harmaa 7 m DB-25

The ShiverPeaks BS78022-7 Grey 7m DB-25 is a serial cable engineered for reliable data transmission between devices that use DB-25 serial interfaces. With a seven-meter length and a neutral grey jacket, this cable is suitable for installations where extended reach is required without signal compromise. The construction aims to provide consistent connectivity for both occasional and continuous serial communications in office, industrial, and laboratory environments.

Advantages

This serial cable offers a durable outer jacket and stable connector fit to minimize intermittent contacts and signal loss during data exchange. The seven-metre length enables flexible device placement and reduced need for intermediate adapters. The DB-25 connector provides broad compatibility with legacy serial equipment and specialized devices that require multi-pin connections.

Key specifications

• Cable type: serial (DB-25)
• Length: 7 m
• Connector: DB-25 (male/female configurations depend on device requirements)
• Colour: grey
• Intended use: data transmission for serial interfaces

How to use

Connect the DB-25 connector to the corresponding serial port on each device, ensuring the connector pins align and the fastening screws are secured to prevent accidental disconnection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension, or contact with moving parts. For installations that cross workplace walkways, secure the cable with appropriate clips or trunking to reduce trip hazards and mechanical stress.

Recommendations

Use the cable within normal indoor temperature ranges and avoid exposure to liquids, oils, or direct sunlight. If the cable is used with sensitive equipment, verify signal integrity after installation and consider using surge protection or grounding where required by the system environment.
