Selkäsuoja Cairn CA OCH PRO IMPAKT D3O 102M — Cairn selkäsuoja D3O-iskumateriaalilla

The Cairn CA OCH PRO IMPAKT D3O 102M is a back protector engineered to provide impact absorption and ergonomic coverage of the spine during sport and outdoor activities. Constructed around D3O impact material, the protector is designed to dissipate and reduce the force transmitted to the body on impact while maintaining flexibility and conforming to the wearer’s back. The design supports mobility and integrates with outer layers or protective garments used by riders and athletes.

Advantages

The D3O material offers high energy absorption in a lightweight, flexible form that remains supple during normal movement and stiffens on impact to reduce transmitted shock. The protector provides full-length coverage of the thoracic and lumbar regions to protect the spine without significant bulk. Its ergonomic shaping and ventilation channels help maintain comfort during prolonged use, and the slim profile allows compatibility with jackets, vests, and harnesses.

Suitable for

• Motorcycle and scooter riders seeking certified back impact protection
• Mountain bikers, enduro and downhill cyclists requiring spinal protection
• Snow sports participants using protective outerwear on pistes or off-piste terrain
• Outdoor athletes and workers exposed to fall or collision risk during activities

Key specifications

• Impact material: D3O polymer designed for high energy absorption
• Coverage: thoracic to lumbar spine protection with ergonomic curvature
• Construction: multilayer impact panel with flexible joints for mobility
• Ventilation: integrated channels and cutouts to improve airflow
• Profile: low-bulk, slim design for compatibility with outer garments

How to use

Place the back protector against the wearer’s back with the broader end positioned over the shoulder blade area and the lower end covering the lumbar region. Secure the protector using the garment’s attachment system, straps, or pockets so it remains centered over the spine and does not shift during movement. Ensure the protector conforms closely to the back without causing discomfort; check fit with intended outer layers and make adjustments to straps or positioning as needed. Inspect the protector regularly for damage or deformation and replace it if it shows significant wear that could compromise performance.

Recommendations

Use the Cairn back protector as part of a complete protective setup that includes a suitable jacket or harness. Follow the manufacturer’s fit guidance and replace the protector after any significant impact event or if visible damage occurs. Combine with appropriate helmets and limb protectors to achieve comprehensive protection during high-risk activities.
