ShiverPeaks 08-10201 kuitu-Keystone-liitin LC-LC duplex, vihreä

The ShiverPeaks Fiber Optic Keystone Connector 08-10201 LC-LC Duplex in green is a keystone-format module that provides two LC fiber interfaces in a single, panel- or wall-plate-mountable unit. It accepts LC-terminated fiber cables and is intended for use in structured cabling installations where compact duplex connections are required. The module supports both singlemode and multimode LC terminations and is suitable for mounting in patch panels, keystone wall plates, and faceplates to create tidy, accessible LC-LC connections between fiber runs.

Advantages

This keystone connector offers a compact duplex LC footprint that saves space in panels and wall plates while keeping fiber connections organized. Its standardized keystone housing enables simple snap-in installation into compatible panels and plates, reducing installation time. The green color provides clear visual identification for system labeling or to distinguish fiber types or links. The connector design ensures secure physical alignment of LC ferrules for reliable signal transmission when used with properly terminated LC patch cords.

Suitable for

• Patching LC-terminated fiber cables in telecom and data center patch panels
• Keystone wall plates and outlet boxes in office and residential fiber installations
• Structured cabling projects requiring duplex LC connections for singlemode or multimode links
• Field or rack-mounted faceplates where modular keystone components are used

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC duplex interfaces (two LC ports)
• Format: Keystone module, snap-in mounting for panels and wall plates
• Compatible fiber: Designed for use with singlemode and multimode LC-terminated cables
• Color: Green housing for visual identification
• Application: Panel, wall plate and faceplate installations in structured cabling

How to use

Insert the keystone connector into a compatible keystone opening on a patch panel or wall plate until it snaps into place. Ensure the connector orientation matches the panel labeling. Plug LC patch cords into each LC port by aligning the LC ferrule and pushing the connector until it clicks. For removal, depress the keystone retention tabs and pull the module out of the opening. Use appropriate LC patch cords and observe standard fiber handling procedures to avoid contamination of ferrules and connectors.

Recommendations

Before connecting, clean LC ferrules and connector endfaces with proper fiber cleaning tools to maintain low loss and reliable performance. Use dust caps when ports are unused. Verify link continuity and attenuation with appropriate test equipment after installation to confirm signal quality.
