Verkkokaapeli S/CONN 08-47005 0,25 m Cat8.1 U/FTP RJ-45

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-47005 is a 0.25 m Category 8.1 network patch cable with U/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for short-distance, high-bandwidth connections, this Cat8.1 cable supports demanding networking environments where reduced crosstalk and electromagnetic interference are required. Its compact length makes it suitable for patch panels, network switches, and point-to-point links in server rooms and data closets where space is limited.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding (overall braid plus individually foiled pairs) improves protection against external electromagnetic interference and minimizes pair-to-pair crosstalk, contributing to stable, high-speed data transfer. The RJ-45 terminations provide compatibility with a wide range of network equipment while supporting the bandwidth characteristics of Cat8.1 standards. A short 0.25 m length reduces cable clutter and insertion loss for connections within racks or between closely spaced devices.

Suitable for

• Short patching between switches, routers and patch panels
• Server cabinet internal connections and top-of-rack links
• High-speed Ethernet setups requiring Cat8.1 bandwidth and reduced interference
• Environments where compact cable runs are preferred to minimize cable management

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Use: Ethernet high-speed data transmission for short runs

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 plug to the corresponding network ports on your equipment, ensuring a secure seating in switch, router or patch panel jacks. Use the cable for short, direct links where Cat8.1 performance is needed; avoid stretching the cable or routing it across sources of strong electromagnetic fields. Inspect connectors for secure latching and keep the cable run free from sharp bends to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this 0.25 m Cat8.1 U/FTP cable within rack-mounted environments or close-proximity device connections. Maintain proper cable management practices—avoid sharp bends and excessive mechanical stress—and pair with compatible Cat8-capable equipment to benefit from the full shielding and bandwidth characteristics.
