Sisäinen kaapeli Lenovo 250mm COM1 (malli 5C10U58623) — 250 mm sarjaportin COM1-lattakaapeli

Internal cable Lenovo 250mm COM1 (model 5C10U58623) is a 250 mm internal serial COM1 ribbon cable designed for compatible Lenovo systems. It provides a fixed-length, low-profile connection between a motherboard serial COM1 header and a front-panel connector or internal expansion module. The cable is intended for repair, replacement or custom system builds where OEM-compatible internal serial connectivity is required and where precise cable length and connector orientation are important.

Advantages

This internal serial ribbon cable offers a standardized connector arrangement and a consistent 250 mm length to ensure predictable routing inside the chassis. Its slim ribbon layout minimizes obstruction of other internal components and supports easy installation in compact cases. The cable is manufactured to match Lenovo internal connector pinouts, reducing the risk of miswiring and compatibility issues when replacing original parts.

Suitable for

• Repairing or replacing a damaged internal COM1 cable in compatible Lenovo desktops or workstations
• Connecting a motherboard COM1 serial header to a front-panel serial port module
• Custom PC builds that require internal serial connectivity with a fixed 250 mm cable length
• Service and maintenance tasks where OEM-compatible internal cabling is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: flat ribbon internal serial cable
• Intended port: COM1 (serial)
• Length: 250 mm
• Connector style: board-to-board / header-to-module ribbon connectors designed for internal mounting
• Physical profile: low-profile, flexible ribbon for tight routing
• Compatibility: specified for use with compatible Lenovo systems and internal serial headers

How to use

Power down the system and disconnect it from all power sources before installing the cable. Open the chassis and identify the motherboard COM1 header and the target connection point on the front panel or expansion module. Align the connector on the cable with the header, ensuring correct pin orientation, and press the connector gently but firmly into place. Route the ribbon cable along existing cable channels or tie points to avoid interference with fans, drives or other components. Close the chassis, restore power and verify serial port functionality in the system BIOS and operating system.

Recommendations

Handle the ribbon cable by its edges and avoid sharp bends or kinks. Ensure correct orientation and seating of connectors to prevent pin damage. Use the 250 mm length where fixed routing is required; if a longer or shorter cable is needed, select an appropriately sized compatible internal serial cable. Regularly inspect internal cabling during maintenance to ensure secure connections and unobstructed airflow.
