Why choose it

Anodizing not only gives the profile a sleek black look but also creates a hard, weather-resistant surface that stands up to rain, UV exposure, and temperature swings. The 40 x 30 mm cross-section offers high rigidity for stable module support, while the 1750 mm length suits standard facade module widths. Pair it with the matching lower profile and fasteners for a complete, code-compliant mounting solution.

Ideal use cases

• Vertical PV module arrays on commercial building facades
• Residential solar facades with limited roof space
• Retrofit projects where anodized aluminum blends with dark cladding
• Systems requiring long-term outdoor durability without repainting

Good to know

The profile is engineered for the upper edge of the module field, working in tandem with the lower profile to create a clamped frame. Always verify structural calculations for wind and snow loads according to local regulations. Use only SL Rack approved screws and torque settings to avoid damaging the anodized layer.
