Timanttilaikka Smart 230 mm Long Life, Smart 10-230LL

Diamond cutting disc Smart 230 mm Long Life (Smart 10-230LL) is a 230 mm diamond blade designed for cutting abrasive and hard building materials. Intended for use with compatible angle grinders and circular saws, this Long Life variant emphasizes extended durability for repetitive cutting tasks on concrete, natural stone, ceramic tiles and similar materials encountered in construction and renovation work.

Advantages

The diamond-segmented rim provides efficient material removal while maintaining a longer service life compared with standard abrasive discs. Precision balancing and a reinforced steel core reduce vibration during operation, improving cut quality and operator control. The disc's design allows consistent cutting performance on a range of hard surfaces and reduces the need for frequent blade changes during continuous work.

How to use

Fit the disc to a compatible angle grinder or circular saw following the machine manufacturer's instructions. Verify the disc is properly seated and secured, and that the machine is disconnected from power when installing. Use appropriate cutting speed and feed rate for the material, and cool the cutting zone with water when wet cutting is applicable and recommended for the machine and disc. Allow the blade to reach operating speed before contacting the workpiece and avoid excessive side pressure that could damage the diamond segments.

Recommendations

Always use appropriate personal protective equipment: eye and hearing protection, respiratory protection where dust is produced, and sturdy gloves. Inspect the disc for visible damage before each use and replace if cracked, warped, or with missing segments. Match the cutting method (dry or wet) to both machine and blade guidelines, and ensure machine RPM does not exceed the disc's maximum rated speed.
