HUB HYPER HD28C USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C harmaa MicroSD SD HDMI Thunderbolt 3

The HYPER HD28C USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C hub in grey provides compact, multiport connectivity for MacBook Pro/Air and other USB-C devices. It houses HDMI (4K60Hz over a direct HDMI-to-HDMI connection), dual USB-C ports that support both Power Delivery and data transfer, two USB-A ports, MicroSD and SD card slots, and a Thunderbolt 3-compatible USB-C interface in a precision-milled aluminum enclosure matching MacBook finishes.

Advantages

The hub delivers high-resolution 4K60Hz HDMI output when connected directly to an HDMI display and offers two USB-C ports that simultaneously support Power Delivery and data transfer (one port at up to 40Gbps/100W and the other at up to 5Gbps/60W). A new removable magnetic grip secures the hub to USB-C MacBook models and can be removed to allow use with protective cases. An included USB-C extension cable enables compatibility with any single-port USB-C device. The compact aluminum design is available in Space Gray and Silver to match MacBook aesthetics.

Suitable for

• Connecting a MacBook Pro/Air to an external 4K60Hz HDMI monitor (requires direct HDMI–HDMI cable)
• Expanding ports for USB-C laptops and single-port USB-C devices using the extension cable
• Transferring data from MicroSD or SD cards
• Connecting USB-A peripherals such as flash drives, keyboards, and mice

How to use

Attach the hub to the MacBook’s USB-C ports with the magnetic grip for a secure connection. For use with protective cases, remove the magnetic grip and connect the hub using the extended dual USB-C connectors or the included USB-C extension cable for single-port devices. To output video, connect a direct HDMI-to-HDMI cable from the hub’s HDMI port to a compatible 4K monitor. Insert MicroSD or SD cards into the appropriate slots and plug USB-A devices into the USB-A ports. Ensure connected devices and cables meet the specified PD and data rates for optimal performance.

Recommendations

Use a direct HDMI-to-HDMI cable to achieve 4K@60Hz output. Do not expect support for Apple SuperDrive. Remove the magnetic grip when using a protective case, and connect high-power devices to the port rated for higher PD capacity to ensure stable charging and data transfer.
