Tarra AVERY 6983-2025 VDE-hyväksytty vihreä vinyyli 20 mm

AVERY 6983-2025 VDE-approved green vinyl 20 mm is a durable vinyl label designed for electrical and technical identification where VDE compliance is required. The 20 mm width provides readable space for printed text, symbols or short codes, and the green colour offers clear visual distinction in wiring, cable and component labelling. These labels are suitable for use with compatible thermal transfer and laser printers and are produced to withstand normal handling and installation conditions in professional environments.

Advantages

The product is VDE-approved for applications that require adherence to relevant electrical labelling standards. The vinyl material offers resistance to abrasion and typical environmental exposure encountered in installations and maintenance work. The 20 mm width balances compactness with legibility, enabling clear marking of wires, cables and small components. The green colour improves visual organisation and helps quickly identify specific circuits or item groups.

Suitable for

• Identification of wires and cables in electrical installations
• Labeling of control panels, terminal blocks and junctions
• Marking components and inventory in maintenance operations
• Color-coding circuits, phases or device groups

Key specifications

• Material: vinyl suitable for durable labelling
• Colour: green for color-coded identification
• Width: 20 mm for printed text and symbols
• Approval: VDE-approved for electrical labelling compliance
• Suitability: compatible with common office and industrial printers designed for label media

How to use

Ensure the surface to be labelled is clean, dry and free of oil or dust. Select an appropriate printer setting for vinyl labels and use a compatible ribbon or print mode recommended by your label printer manufacturer. Print the required text or symbols at a size that remains legible on the 20 mm width. Apply the label by aligning it with the item and pressing firmly to ensure adhesion; avoid stretching the vinyl during application. For wires and cables, wrap or attach labels according to industry best practices to maintain readability and durability.

Recommendations

Store labels in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive performance and colour stability. For outdoor exposure or aggressive chemical environments, verify the vinyl and adhesive suitability for the specific conditions before long-term use. When precise compliance documentation is required, consult VDE guidance or project specifications to confirm appropriate placement and content of electrical labels.
