Albrecht Dürer Watercolour Marker in dark phthalo green is a water-based artist marker designed for sketching and watercolour effects. The ink is ready-to-use and can be reactivated or washed out with water to create blended washes and gradients. Compact and portable, this marker suits outdoor sketching and quick studies as well as studio work.

Advantages

The water-based formula allows both precise lines and soft washes after adding water. The marker delivers consistent, lightfast pigment that blends smoothly on paper when activated with a wet brush. Its ready-to-use nib provides control for detailed drawing while remaining convenient for travel and on-the-spot sketching.

Suitable for

• Urban sketching and travel journals
• Illustrations and mixed-media artwork
• Field studies, botanical and nature sketches
• Quick concept sketches and colour accents

How to use

Apply the marker directly to paper for line work or shading. To create watercolour effects, draw a stroke and then use a wet brush to blend the pigment while it is still wet or to lift colour after drying. Layer tones by allowing areas to dry before reworking. Use suitable watercolour or mixed-media paper for best results.

Recommendations

Store capped in a horizontal or upright position to maintain nib condition. Test colour and water-reactivity on a scrap of the intended paper before applying to final work.
