Tuuletin Thermaltake Pure Duo 12

The Thermaltake Pure Duo 12 is a 120 mm PWM-controlled case fan with a dual-ring, addressable 5V RGB LED design that displays up to 16.8 million colors. It combines a 9-blade impeller, hydraulic bearing and anti-vibration mounting to provide effective airflow, reduced noise and a clean white appearance suitable for PC builds.

Advantages

The dual 2-ring LED design with 9 addressable LEDs per ring delivers uniform color and broad light coverage. PWM control and a 9-blade layout optimise airflow across a 500–1500 RPM range while keeping acoustic output low. A self-lubricating hydraulic bearing reduces friction and noise and the seal cap prevents lubricant leakage, extending service life. Anti-vibration rubber pads minimise chassis vibration and help maintain quieter operation.

Suitable for

• PC case cooling for mid-tower and full-tower builds
• Systems requiring 5V addressable RGB lighting or standalone LED control
• Users seeking a balance of airflow and low noise in a white fan
• Cooling multiple components where stable, continuous airflow is needed

How to use

Install the fan into a compatible 120 mm mounting location in the PC case using the supplied screws or anti-vibration mounts. Connect the 3- or 4-pin PWM power connector to a motherboard fan header to enable speed control between 500 and 1500 RPM. For lighting control, connect the 5V addressable RGB cable to a compatible 5V ARGB header on the motherboard, or use the included preset controller to change modes, colors and speeds without a motherboard header.

Recommendations

For synchronization with motherboard lighting software, connect the 5V ARGB header and use ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync or ASRock Polychrome. If you prefer quieter operation, configure motherboard fan curves to keep the fan at lower RPM during light workloads and allow higher speeds when temperatures rise.
