Tuuletin Thermaltake TOUGHFAN 12 Pro

The Thermaltake TOUGHFAN 12 Pro is a 120 mm case fan engineered for balanced airflow and static pressure in desktop computer cooling systems. It operates across a 500–2000 RPM range to adapt to different cooling loads, and its hydraulic bearing supports reduced noise levels and extended service life. The fan’s black finish integrates with most system builds while delivering the airflow and air pressure needed for radiators, heatsinks, or general case ventilation.

Advantages

The TOUGHFAN 12 Pro combines a wide RPM range with stable air pressure values, enabling efficient heat removal under variable workloads. The hydraulic bearing design minimizes operational noise and contributes to long-term reliability. Compact 120 mm form factor and neutral black colour make the fan compatible with a broad range of cases and mounting locations.

Suitable for

• Case ventilation to improve general airflow
• Mounting on CPU coolers and radiators requiring focused static pressure
• System builds where a 120 mm fan size is required

Key specifications

• Fan diameter: 120 mm
• Rotational speed: 500–2000 RPM
• Minimum air pressure: 1.72 mmH2O
• Maximum air pressure: 3.19 mmH2O
• Bearing type: hydraulic bearing
• Colour: black

How to use

Install the TOUGHFAN 12 Pro in a suitable 120 mm fan mounting location in your PC case, radiator, or fan bracket using the provided screws or compatible mounting hardware. Connect the fan to a motherboard fan header or a fan controller that supports the desired voltage or PWM control to manage the 500–2000 RPM range. Ensure the airflow orientation matches your intended intake or exhaust configuration and verify secure cable routing to avoid contact with the fan blades.

Recommendations

For quieter operation, use PWM control via the motherboard or a fan controller and set profiles that reduce peak RPM when full performance is not needed. When mounting on radiators or heatsinks, position the fan to maximize airflow through fins for optimal thermal transfer. Periodically inspect and clean the fan blades to maintain airflow and prolong bearing life.
