UBIQUITI NETWORKS 2g10 Dual Airmax omni-antenni (10 dBi - 2,4 GHz)

The Ubiquiti AMO-2G10 is a 2x2 dual-polarity sector antenna with 10 dBi gain, designed for operation in the 2.35–2.55 GHz band. It provides a focused horizontal beam (approximately 12°) for targeted coverage and is compatible with RocketM radios (RocketM sold separately). The antenna’s compact dimensions and dual-polarization design make it suitable for building high-capacity outdoor base stations and extending carrier-class links with low signal loss (VSWR 1.7:1).

Advantages

The AMO-2G10 supports Ubiquiti’s airMAX TDMA protocol, which schedules client transmissions in time slots to reduce collisions and improve airtime efficiency. Its intelligent QoS prioritizes voice and video traffic to maintain steady streaming, while the antenna’s dual polarization and 10 dBi gain provide reliable long-distance performance and scalability for growing networks.

Suitable for

• Outdoor sector base stations covering a narrow horizontal sector
• Point-to-multipoint links requiring high capacity and low latency
• Deployments using RocketM radios for integrated airMAX performance

Key specifications

• Frequency band: 2.35–2.55 GHz
• Max gain: 10 dBi
• Horizontal beamwidth: ~12°
• Polarization: Dual (2x2)
• VSWR: 1.7:1
• Dimensions (W×D×H): 1030 × 122 × 84 mm
• Weight: 2.1 kg

How to use

Mount the AMO-2G10 on a mast or tower aimed to cover the intended sector. Install a RocketM radio (sold separately) at the antenna feed and align both azimuth and tilt for optimal coverage. Connect the radio to your network and configure airMAX settings on the AP controller to assign TDMA time slots and QoS priorities. Ensure all connectors and mounting hardware are tightened and weatherproofed according to site requirements.

Recommendations

For best results, pair this sector antenna with RocketM radios and configure the airMAX TDMA controller to manage client time slots and prioritize latency-sensitive traffic. Use appropriate surge protection and grounding in outdoor installations and perform careful alignment to exploit the 12° horizontal beam for targeted coverage.
