USB- ja PWM-keskitin Lian Li EDGE HUB EG-HUB01B — 4× USB, 6× PWM-tuuletinliitintä

Lian Li EDGE HUB EG-HUB01B is a compact combination hub that provides four external USB ports and six PWM fan ports in a single module. Designed for desktop PC systems, it extends front-panel or chassis connectivity while enabling centralized PWM fan control. The hub simplifies cable routing and helps organize system internals by consolidating multiple fan and USB connections into one accessible unit.

Advantages

The hub integrates USB connectivity and PWM fan headers in a space-efficient housing, reducing the number of individual cables routed to the motherboard. It supports PWM fan speed control from a single PWM signal source and offers four accessible USB ports for peripherals or front-panel expansion. Its compact design facilitates installation in tight chassis layouts and improves overall system cable management.

Suitable for

• PC builds requiring additional external USB ports for peripherals
• Systems with multiple PWM fans that benefit from centralized speed control
• Compact or mid-tower cases where cable routing and neatness are priorities
• Custom builds and upgrades aimed at improved cooling management and accessibility

Key specifications

• Ports: 4× USB ports for external peripherals
• Fan headers: 6× PWM-capable fan ports for 4-pin fans
• Control method: Consolidates PWM control signals for synchronized fan speed management
• Form factor: Compact hub designed for internal chassis mounting and cable organization
• Cable routing: Includes connectors and cabling to connect to motherboard headers and front-panel USB lines

How to use

Install the hub inside the PC case in a suitable location that provides access to front-panel or external USB openings and allows convenient fan cable routing. Connect the hub's PWM input cable to the motherboard's PWM fan header or a PWM controller so the hub can relay speed control to all connected fans. Attach fans to the hub's 4-pin PWM headers and plug peripheral USB cables into the hub's USB ports. Secure cables to prevent strain and verify that all connections are fully seated before powering on the system.

Recommendations

For balanced airflow and effective PWM control, connect fans of similar power and specification to the hub and ensure the motherboard or controller supports the combined current draw of multiple fans. Route USB and fan cables to minimize interference and secure all connections to maintain reliable operation.
