USB-jatkokaapeli Lindy 15m USB 3.0 aktiivinen jatkojohto

The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable extends the reach of USB Type A devices by an additional 15 m while maintaining data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps. It features a USB A male to USB A female connection and supports chaining up to two extension cables for a maximum reach of 30 m. The cable is compatible with computers equipped with USB Type A ports and offers plug-and-play installation. A DC socket is provided for an optional external power supply to support higher-power USB peripherals (power supply not included). USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 support the same 5 Gbps transfer rate; later Gen 2 variants support higher rates up to 10 Gbps.

Advantages

The active electronics inside the cable preserve signal integrity over long distances to ensure reliable data transfer at USB 3.0 speeds. Its Type A male-to-female design enables connection of storage devices, webcams and other Type A peripherals at extended distances. Plug-and-play compatibility with USB Type A systems allows fast, tool-free setup. The included DC socket permits use of an external power source when attached devices require additional power.

Key specifications

• Type: USB 3.0 active extension cable (USB A male to USB A female)
• Extended length: +15 m per cable; up to 30 m when chaining two cables
• Maximum data rate: up to 5 Gbps (USB 3.0 / USB 3.1 Gen 1 / USB 3.2 Gen 1)
• Compatibility: USB Type A host ports on PCs, laptops and tablets
• Power: DC socket for optional external power supply (not included)
• Installation: Plug and play, no drivers required

How to use

Connect the USB A male end of the active extension cable to the host computer's Type A port and plug the USB A female end to the Type A device (for example a storage drive or webcam). If additional reach is needed, connect a second identical Lindy USB 3.0 active extension cable to the female end to extend the total length to 30 m. If the connected peripheral requires more power, attach a compatible external DC power supply to the cable's DC socket. After connections are made, the device should be recognised automatically by the operating system.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use high-quality USB 3.0 Type A devices and avoid running the cable near strong sources of electromagnetic interference. Use an appropriate external power supply when connecting devices with higher power demands, and do not chain more than two active extension cables as this exceeds the supported maximum length.
