Valeton EP-2 passiivinen volume- ja expression-pedaali kitaralle, bassolle, koskettimille ja monitehosteille

Guitarists and keyboard players often need precise, hands-free control over volume swells or effect parameters during live performances and studio sessions. The Valeton EP-2 combines both volume and expression functions in one rugged, passive pedal, eliminating the need for batteries or power supplies. Its compact aluminum alloy chassis fits neatly on any pedalboard, while the smooth full-range sweep ensures accurate control for swells, wah, pitch, delay mix, and more.

Key specifications

• Dual function: passive volume pedal and expression pedal via toggle switch
• Volume section: 1/4" TS input and output jacks, ideal for guitar or bass signal chains
• Expression section: 1/4" TRS output with 10kΩ potentiometer, compatible with most multi-effects processors and keyboards
• Passive design: no power required, preserving signal integrity and simplifying setup
• Sturdy aluminum alloy housing with non-slip rubber top for reliable foot control
• Compact footprint: fits standard pedalboards without crowding
• Universal compatibility: works with any instrument or device accepting passive volume or TRS expression pedals

Why choose it

The EP-2 is a versatile, no-nonsense tool for musicians who demand reliability and simplicity. Unlike active pedals, its passive circuitry never colors your tone or introduces noise, making it transparent in any rig. The toggle switch lets you instantly change between volume and expression modes, so you can use one pedal for multiple tasks—swells, vibrato, filter sweeps, or parameter morphing. Its durable build withstands heavy gigging, and the smooth action gives you fine control over the entire range.

Ideal use cases

• Live performance: control volume swells or effect parameters without taking hands off your instrument
• Studio recording: automate expression changes for precise, repeatable takes
• Pedalboard integration: add expression control to multi-effects units, delays, reverbs, and modulation pedals
• Keyboard and synthesizer setups: use as a volume or expression pedal for organs, synths, and MIDI controllers
• Bass rigs: smooth volume control for dynamic playing styles

Good to know

The EP-2's passive design means it works with high-impedance signals without loading down your pickups. For expression use, ensure your device accepts a 10kΩ TRS expression pedal (most modern units do). The pedal's compact size and light weight make it easy to transport, while the rubber feet prevent slipping on stage. No batteries or adapters are needed—just plug in and play.
