Valokennohaarukka-anturi Omron EE-SX4009-P1 — läpivalaisu-/haarukkatyyppi, 1 kpl

The Omron EE-SX4009-P1 is a compact photoelectric slot (fork) sensor supplied as a single unit. Designed as a through-beam/slot type device, it creates a narrow optical path between emitter and detector inside a fork-shaped housing. The sensor is intended for detecting small parts, labels, edges or the presence/absence of targets in confined spaces and positioning applications where a fork-style optical arrangement offers reliable, repeatable detection.

Advantages

The fork design provides a defined sensing gap that simplifies alignment and protects the optical elements from side glare. Its small footprint allows installation in tight mechanical assemblies and automated equipment. The through-beam principle delivers high sensitivity and stable detection of small or thin objects, while the single-piece supply makes integration straightforward for systems requiring individual sensors.

Suitable for

• Detection of small components on assembly lines
• Label or edge detection in packaging and printing
• Presence/absence checks in automated pick-and-place systems
• Positioning and reference marking in compact machinery

Key specifications

• Sensor type: photoelectric slot (fork) through-beam
• Form factor: fork-style housing for optical path between emitter and detector
• Sensitivity: suitable for small/thin object detection (through-beam principle)
• Mounting: compact footprint for tight installation spaces
• Output/connection: single-piece unit designed for direct integration into automated systems

How to use

Install the sensor so the target passes through the fork gap where the emitter and detector face each other. Secure the housing using suitable clamps or mounting brackets compatible with the sensor body. Connect the electrical wiring according to your system’s power and control requirements, observing polarity and recommended supply voltage for the device model. Adjust the alignment so the unobstructed optical beam is established across the fork; test with representative targets to verify reliable detection and repeatability.

Recommendations

Place the sensor to minimize exposure to dust and direct ambient light in the fork gap. For best results with very small or translucent parts, use consistent target orientation and ensure the optical path is clean. Verify electrical and environmental compatibility with the host system before continuous operation.
