Vene Amewi Focus V2

The Amewi Focus V2 is a high-performance electric RC model boat designed for speed and responsive handling on open water. Weighing 3.45 kg, this model balances stability and agility to deliver a predictable ride at higher speeds. Its electric propulsion provides smooth acceleration and quieter operation compared with combustion alternatives, making it suitable for recreational runs and controlled practice sessions.

Advantages

The Focus V2 offers a compact, lightweight hull that enhances maneuverability while maintaining directional stability. Electric drive ensures consistent power delivery and easier maintenance than fuel engines. The model's color scheme of black, grey, and red improves visibility on the water without affecting performance. Overall design emphasizes reliability, straightforward assembly, and parts accessibility for routine servicing.

Suitable for

• Hobbyist speed runs and recreational boating
• Skill development in remote-control boat handling and racing techniques
• Practice sessions on lakes, ponds, and calm coastal areas
• Display at club meets and RC model demonstrations

Key specifications

• Drive type: Electric motor suitable for model boating
• Weight: 3.45 kg for stable planing characteristics
• Hull material: durable composite construction for impact resistance
• Color options: black, grey, red exterior trim and accents
• Control: radio-controlled steering and throttle for precise handling

How to use

Before operation, inspect the hull, propeller, and control linkages for damage or loose fittings. Install the recommended battery and ensure secure connections to the motor and electronic speed controller. Perform a range and motor test on land with the propeller removed or guarded, then place the boat in calm water and perform low-speed checks for trim and steering response. Gradually increase throttle while monitoring temperature and control responsiveness. After each session, rinse the hull and drive components with fresh water if used in non-freshwater environments and dry thoroughly.

Recommendations

Operate the boat in open areas away from swimmers and boat traffic. Choose calm to moderate water conditions for best performance and reduced stress on components. Use compatible batteries and follow manufacturer guidelines for charging and storage to prolong motor and electronics life.
