Verkkokaapeli EFB Elektronik K5528GE.0.5 RJ-45 Cat8.1 0,5 m keltainen

The EFB Elektronik K5528GE.0.5 is a Cat8.1 RJ-45 patch cable with a length of 0.5 m, designed for high-speed copper Ethernet links. It supports 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T applications, offers a frequency range up to 2000 MHz and is specified for a maximum transmission distance of 30 m. The cable uses S/FTP shielding and delivers data rates up to 40000 Mbit/s, with durable RJ-45 connectors and a yellow jacket for easy identification.

Advantages

The Cat8.1 construction with S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity for short high-speed links. Compliance with 40GBase-T and support for 25GBASE-T enable use in modern data center and professional networking environments. The 0.5 m length is suitable for rack-to-equipment and patch panel connections where a short, robust cable is needed.

Suitable for

• Short connections between switches, patch panels and servers in data centers
• High-speed copper links using 25GBASE-T or 40GBASE-T
• Environments requiring shielded cabling to limit interference
• Rack-mounted equipment where a 0.5 m cable prevents cable clutter

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your switch, server or patch panel and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding port on the adjacent device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and locking tabs engage. Use the cable for short copper links within the recommended distance limits and avoid tight bends near the connectors to preserve shielding and performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 S/FTP cable in shielded installations and maintain the maximum recommended distance. Keep the cable away from strong sources of interference and avoid repeated sharp bending; for rack installations, route the cable to minimise strain on the connectors.
