Verkkokaapeli Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 30m keltainen S/FTP (S-STP)

The Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 30m Yellow S/FTP (S-STP) is a 30-meter networking patch cable designed for high-performance data transmission. It uses screened fully shielded twisted pairs (S/FTP) with pairs in metal foil (PIMF) and an outer braided shield, and features gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and a slim molded strain relief with length indication.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable is tested up to 600 MHz and provides enhanced EMI/RFI protection thanks to pair-level foil shielding and an overall braided shield. The molded slim-line strain relief reduces stress at the connector, while 50 µ gold-plated contacts help maintain stable, corrosion-resistant connections. The bright yellow jacket improves visibility and cable identification in complex installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet networks (including 10 Gbit/s and similar environments within cable specifications)
• Server rooms, data centers and office LAN cabling
• Structured cabling where shielded twisted pair is required to reduce interference
• Visible or mixed-cable installations requiring easy identification

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (S-STP) — pairs in metal foil (PIMF) with braided outer shield
• Length: 30 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contacts: 50 µ gold plated
• Pair sequence: according to EIA/TIA 568 standard
• Strain relief: molded slim-line with length indication
• Test frequency: Cat7 tested up to 600 MHz
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Route the cable between network devices and connect the RJ-45 plugs to compatible Ethernet ports. Ensure the slim molded strain relief seats fully in the port to reduce mechanical stress. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from strong electrical noise sources. Follow the EIA/TIA 568 pair sequence when terminating or verifying connections.

Recommendations

The cable is suitable for shielded network environments; when used in installations requiring grounding, ensure proper shielding termination at patch panels and network equipment to maintain effectiveness of the S/FTP design.
