Verkkokaapeli Sharkoon 0,25 m RJ-45 Cat6 S/FTP vihreä

The Sharkoon 0.25m RJ-45 Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a short patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections. It uses S/FTP shielding and a copper inner conductor with 26 AWG wire to reduce interference and maintain signal integrity. Both ends have RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts, and the cable comes in a green color suitable for organized, visible cabling runs.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while the 26 AWG copper conductor supports stable data transmission over short distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer improved corrosion resistance and consistent contact quality. The 0.25 m length is convenient for close-proximity connections without excess cable bulk.

Suitable for

• Short-distance Ethernet patch connections between devices
• Patching switches, routers or patch panels in racks with minimal cable slack
• Clean, color-coded cable routing in small office or home setups

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat6 S/FTP
• Length: 0.25 m
• Conductor: copper, 26 AWG
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil with braided shield and foil around pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 – gold-plated contacts
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288, TIA/EIA 568-C.2
• Colour: Green

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 plug to the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices (for example, between a computer and a switch or between a switch and a patch panel). Ensure plugs are fully inserted and the latch clicks into place. Because the cable is only 0.25 m long, plan the connection to avoid strain on the connectors and allow for proper cable routing.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP 0.25 m cable for short, high-quality patch connections in environments where reduced interference and tidy cable management are important. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and do not use it for lengths beyond its rated distance.
