Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS20-60025 1 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS20-60025 1m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a short, high-performance connection for Ethernet devices. Constructed to the Cat6a standard with S/FTP (shielded/ferrule + overall foil) design, the cable reduces external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while supporting high-speed data transfer. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 1-metre cable is intended for reliable point-to-point links in home, office, and data center environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding and Cat6a specification enable support for data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and improved signal integrity over short distances. The one-metre length minimizes excess slack, which helps maintain tidy cable runs and reduces potential signal degradation from unnecessary cable loops. Durable connectors and consistent pair twisting ensure stable performance and compatibility with standard RJ-45 ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers, and network interface cards in local networks
• Short links between patch panels and wall sockets in offices or server rooms
• High-speed internet connections for gaming consoles, PCs, and streaming devices
• Temporary test setups and bench configurations for network troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall foil)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 1 metre
• Maximum supported data rate: 10000 Mbit/s
• Use environment: indoor Ethernet cabling

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and prolonged kinking of the cable; maintain gentle bend radii and route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large motors or fluorescent lighting. Use the 1-metre length for direct device-to-device connections or short patch runs where minimal slack is desired.

Recommendations

For best results in high-speed setups, pair this Cat6a S/FTP cable with shielded network components and maintain proper grounding of patch panels and shielded connectors. Replace the cable if outer jacket damage or connector deformation is visible to preserve signal quality and connection reliability.
