Verkkokaapeli ShiverPeaks BS75115 5 m Cat5e F/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75115 5m Cat5e F/UTP networking cable provides a shielded twisted-pair connection for reliable data transmission over short to medium distances. Designed to Cat5e standards and fitted with RJ-45 connectors at both ends, this 5-metre grey cable is suitable for wired connections between computers, routers, switches and other Ethernet-capable devices. F/UTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and helps maintain signal integrity in environments with potential electrical noise.

Advantages

This Cat5e F/UTP cable combines the standardized performance of Cat5e with foil-shielded pairs to decrease crosstalk and external interference. The pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors enable quick plug-and-play installation without the need for crimping tools. Its 5 m length balances reach and minimal latency for typical home and office setups, while the neutral grey jacket blends with common networking hardware.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between PCs, laptops and network equipment
• Connecting routers, switches and access points in home or small office networks
• Stable connections for VoIP phones, NAS devices and streaming media players
• Temporary or permanent cable runs in environments with moderate electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e performance for up to 100 MHz bandwidth
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil shielding over twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 5 metres
• Cable colour: grey
• Conductor arrangement: twisted-pair copper conductors

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch or computer) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and sources of strong electromagnetic fields; use cable clips or ties to secure the run and maintain proper bend radius. For wall-mounted or structured cabling installations, verify port mapping and test the link with a network tester if precise performance verification is required.

Recommendations

For best results, keep cable runs under typical length limits for Cat5e, avoid running parallel to power lines for extended distances, and use grounded patch panels or switches where available to maximize the benefit of shielding.
