Videoprosessori Roland VP-42H

The Roland VP-42H Video Processor layers and arranges multiple video sources on a single screen with dynamic transitions for presentations, digital signage and meeting applications. Supporting resolutions up to WUXGA (1920x1200) and four input channels, the VP-42H combines customizable multi-window compositions, motion-based scene switching and 10‑bit 4:4:4 processing for accurate color and clear detail. The unit also provides audio de‑embedding and embedding via stereo RCA connectors and a compact, rack- or table-friendly form factor.

Advantages

The VP-42H offers instant switching between preset scenes that contain layered source arrangements in customizable inset windows, with smooth animated transitions that move and resize windows automatically. It can operate as a simple cross-dissolve seamless switcher with a keyer and USB-based still image display, or as a flexible compositor for complex multi-source layouts. Browser-based setup lets you scale, crop, zoom and position each layer by clicking and dragging from any networked tablet or computer. Low power consumption and compact dimensions make it suitable for portable or permanently installed systems.

How to use

Connect up to four HDMI sources and route audio as needed via the stereo RCA connectors. Use the web browser interface over the network to create scenes: click and drag to scale, crop, zoom and position each input layer, then save scene presets for instant recall. Switch between scenes using the front panel or remote control; for simple switching use the cross-dissolve mode and keyer for overlays. For signage or event playback, load BMP images to a USB drive and use them as still overlays or background slides.

Recommendations

For pixel‑accurate display of detailed content such as spreadsheets, use native or near‑native resolution (WUXGA) and enable 10‑bit 4:4:4 processing where possible. For remote setup, ensure the VP-42H is on the same network and access the web interface from a tablet or laptop for quick composition adjustments.
