The Herlitz 11408630 writing notebook in A5 format contains 40 sheets of 80 g/m² paper designed for everyday note-taking, sketching and planning. Its compact dimensions make it easy to carry in a bag or backpack, while the quality paper provides reliable performance with most pens and pencils. The notebook is suitable for students, office use and personal organisation where a portable, well-sized pad is needed.

Advantages

The 80 g/m² paper minimises show-through and feathering with standard ballpoint, gel and pencil media, offering a smooth writing surface. With 40 sheets in A5 format the notebook balances portability and sufficient writing area. The consistent paper weight and format make the notebook compatible with common organisers and folders. The binding and cover are designed for frequent handling and transport.

How to use

Use the notebook for sequential note-taking, sketching or record keeping. Open the notebook flat on a desk or lap and write on each sheet as required. For better organisation, record dates and page headings at the top of each page. When using higher-ink-flow pens or fountain pens, test on a corner page to check for show-through or bleed before writing on multiple pages. Store the notebook in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight to preserve paper quality.

Recommendations

Select writing instruments with moderate ink flow for the best balance between smoothness and minimal show-through on 80 g/m² paper. For archival notes or documents that must not show bleed-through, consider placing a backing sheet beneath the page while writing or using separate heavyweight paper.
