Xerox Square Fold Trimmer (PR-jälkikäsittelijä)

For production environments where saddle-stitched booklets must look like perfect-bound books, the Xerox Square Fold Trimmer (PR Finisher) delivers a true square-fold spine and simultaneously face-trims the three open edges in a single inline pass. Unlike conventional corner trimmers that leave rounded spines and untrimmed fore-edges, this module produces crisp, book-like results ready for immediate distribution.

Highlights

• Square folding and face trimming in one inline operation
• Handles booklets up to 25 sheets (100 pages at 90 gsm)
• Supports paper sizes from A5 to SRA3, including A4, A3, Letter, and Tabloid
• Adjustable trimming margin from 2 to 20 mm with ±0.5 mm accuracy
• Designed for Xerox Versant, Iridesse, and D-Series production finishers
• Throughput up to 2,000 booklets per hour
• Fully integrated with the main printer/finisher user interface

In daily use

Operators simply load the finisher as usual; the Square Fold Trimmer automatically applies the square fold and trims the front, foot, and head edges to the set margin. Trimming margins are adjusted directly from the digital front end, making it easy to optimise output for each job. Because the module works inline, there is no need for offline processing or additional labour, dramatically speeding up high-volume booklet production while maintaining a clean, consistent finish.
