8-tie jakaja Televes VT814FZ 5–1218 MHz 14 dB

Televes VT814FZ is an 8-way RF splitter designed to distribute terrestrial and cable television signals across multiple outputs. Covering a wide frequency range from 5 to 1218 MHz, this splitter provides consistent frequency coverage for VHF, UHF and cable TV bands while maintaining 14 dB isolation between ports to reduce interference and signal leakage. The compact unit is intended for fixed installations in multi-room TV setups or small distribution systems where reliable splitting and port isolation are required.

Advantages

The device offers eight outputs that allow one input signal to be shared among multiple receivers without significant degradation within the specified frequency band. Fourteen decibels of isolation between outputs helps minimize cross-talk and interference when different receivers or tuners are connected. The broad 5–1218 MHz operating range ensures compatibility with terrestrial broadcasts, cable TV services and many RF distribution networks. The splitter’s construction supports straightforward inline installation into existing coaxial cabling systems.

Suitable for

• Distributing terrestrial antenna signals to several TVs or set-top boxes
• Sharing a cable TV feed across multiple rooms in a home or small office
• Small apartment buildings or hospitality rooms requiring a single-input multi-output split
• Systems where moderate port isolation is needed to reduce inter-receiver interference

Key specifications

• Number of outputs: 8
• Frequency range: 5–1218 MHz
• Port isolation: 14 dB
• Application: terrestrial and cable RF distribution
• Connection type: coaxial F-type compatible

How to use

Connect the incoming antenna or cable feed to the splitter input using a suitable coaxial cable and F-type connectors. Route each output to the intended receiver or wall outlet with coaxial cables, ensuring secure F-type terminations. Mount the unit in a dry, ventilated location and avoid tight bends or compressions of the coaxial cables. Verify signal levels at the receivers after installation and, if necessary, adjust amplifier or attenuator settings elsewhere in the system to compensate for the splitter’s insertion loss.

Recommendations

Use this splitter in indoor fixed installations and combine it with line amplifiers or attenuators only when required by signal level measurements. Avoid using multiple passive splitters in cascade without amplification, as cumulative losses can degrade reception. For best results, check connector integrity and cable quality, and keep cable runs as short as practical.
