ABB free@home 2-kanavainen uppoasennus kytkinaktori 62821 U-WL

Modernizing existing buildings with smart switching often means disruptive bus cabling or deep renovation. The ABB 62821 U-WL eliminates that hurdle by bringing wireless free@home control directly into standard flush boxes. This two-channel actuator communicates over the 868 MHz RF protocol, so you can upgrade lighting and small appliance circuits without chasing walls or pulling new lines. Each channel handles up to 10 A resistive load, and a manual push-button on the device ensures local override even when the wireless network is down.

Highlights

• Two independent switching channels, each rated 10 A / 2300 W resistive
• Wireless free@home RF communication at 868 MHz – no bus wiring required
• Flush-mounted for discreet installation in standard wall boxes
• Manual operation via push-button directly on the actuator
• Status feedback to the free@home system for reliable monitoring
• Supports LED loads up to 200 W in RC mode and 100 W in RL mode
• Compact installation depth of approximately 32 mm
• IP20 protection, suitable for indoor dry environments

In daily use

Once paired with the ABB free@home access point, the 62821 U-WL appears as two logical switch channels in the system app. You can assign each channel to any free@home control element – wall panels, smartphone app, or time programs. The actuator's screw terminals accept solid or stranded conductors up to 2.5 mm², and the compact design fits standard European flush boxes with a depth of at least 40 mm. The manual push-button allows toggling each channel locally, providing a reliable fallback if the wireless network is unavailable.
