ACT 2 metrin sarjaliitäntäkaapeli 1:1 37-napainen D-Sub uros – 37-napainen D-Sub naaras

The ACT 2m 37 pin D-sub male to female serial connection cable is a two-metre, 1:1 wired lead designed for direct serial communication between compatible devices. Finished in an ivory colour, the cable carries a full 37-pin D-sub connector at each end — male to female — to maintain pin-to-pin mapping for legacy equipment, industrial controllers, instrumentation and peripherals that require a DB37-style interface. The construction emphasises reliable signal transfer and a consistent physical fit with standard D-sub 37 sockets.

Advantages

This ACT serial cable offers straightforward 1:1 wiring to preserve original pin functions and avoids the need for adapters or re-pinning. The 2 m length provides flexibility for desk-to-equipment connections while keeping cable routing manageable. Robustly terminated D-sub housings help ensure a stable mechanical connection and consistent data transmission over the cable’s effective length.

Suitable for

• Connecting industrial controllers, PLCs and factory automation equipment
• Linking measurement instruments and test benches with DB37 interfaces
• Serial data transfer between legacy computers, expansion cards and peripherals
• Audio patching or multi-pin signal routing in professional equipment racks

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 metres
• Connector type (end A): 37-pin D-sub male
• Connector type (end B): 37-pin D-sub female
• Wiring: 1:1 / straight-through pin mapping
• Colour: ivory
• Suitable for serial/parallel style multi-pin signal connections

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting the cable. Align the male 37-pin D-sub connector with the female socket on the receiving device and seat it gently until the connector shells meet. Secure the connectors using the built-in screws or fastening mechanism to prevent accidental disconnection. After fastening, power on devices and verify communication using the appropriate terminal software or instrument controls. For removal, power down the connected devices and loosen the connector screws before separating the ends.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments free from excessive moisture and mechanical strain. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; keep it separate from high-voltage power lines where possible. If connecting critical equipment, periodically inspect connector pins and housings for wear or contamination and replace the cable if physical damage is observed.
