ACT 3 metrin LSZH multimode 62.5/125 OM1 kuitu-patch-kaapeli duplex ST- ja SC-liittimillä

The ACT Fiber Patch Cable 3m LSZH Multimode 62.5/125 OM1 Duplex ST–SC provides a dependable fiber optic link for indoor network installations. Constructed for multimode transmission, this 3 meter cable uses 62.5/125 µm OM1 fiber to support full duplex data transfer between equipment with ST and SC terminations. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire, making the cable suitable for enclosed or public indoor spaces where low-smoke behavior is required.

Advantages

This multimode fiber patch cable combines SC and ST connectors for compatibility with a wide range of network devices and patch panels. The duplex design enables simultaneous transmit and receive channels for standard fiber networking. The OM1 62.5/125 core/cladding ratio supports legacy multimode applications and short-reach installations. The LSZH outer jacket increases safety in confined areas by minimizing harmful fumes and smoke during combustion while maintaining flexibility and mechanical protection for everyday handling.

Suitable for

• Indoor LAN patching between switches, media converters and transceivers
• Data center short-reach multimode links and patch panels
• Telecommunications rooms, wiring closets and campus backbone segments
• Environments requiring low smoke and zero halogen materials

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM1, 62.5/125 µm
• Length: 3 meters
• Connector configuration: Duplex, one end SC, other end ST
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Typical use: Short-reach multimode links and patching

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before installation and clean if necessary using appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Connect the SC and ST ends to the corresponding ports on network devices or patch panels, ensuring correct alignment and secure latching. Route the cable without sharp bends and maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius to avoid excessive attenuation. For duplex operation, verify that transmit and receive channels are correctly paired between devices.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable in dry indoor environments; avoid exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures. Use proper cable management (cable ties, routing trays, and bend radius guides) to maintain performance and longevity. For critical links, perform optical loss testing after installation to confirm acceptable attenuation for the intended application.
