ACT 3 metrin sarjaliitäntäkaapeli Interlink 9-napainen D-Sub naaras – 9-napainen D-Sub naaras

The ACT AK7103 is a 3.00 m serial interlink connection cable with 9-pin D-sub female connectors on both ends. Designed for serial data transfer and file exchange, this ivory-coloured cable implements a specific wiring scheme to match compatible serial interfaces and laplink applications.

Advantages

The cable offers a three-metre reach that supports flexible device placement and direct serial connections without adapters. Both ends use standard 9-pin D-sub female connectors for broad compatibility with serial ports. The molded hoods provide strain relief and protect the connector termination, while the specified wiring ensures correct signal routing for serial interlink and file-transfer (Laplink) use.

Suitable for

• Direct serial device-to-device connections
• File transfer (Laplink) between compatible systems
• Legacy equipment with 9-pin D-sub serial ports

Key specifications

• Length: 3.00 m
• Connector A: 9-pin D-sub female
• Connector B: 9-pin D-sub female
• Colour: Ivory
• Wiring: (1+6)-4, 2-3, 3-2, 4-(1+6), 5-5, 7-8, 8-7

How to use

Connect one 9-pin D-sub female end to the serial port of the first device and the other end to the second device. Ensure both devices are powered off before making the connection if recommended by the device manufacturers. After physical connection, configure serial communication settings (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits) on both systems to match the intended transfer protocol and begin data or file transfer using the chosen software.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-distance serial communication and Laplink-style file transfers between compatible equipment. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the molded hoods; keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources to maintain signal integrity.
