ACT 30 metrin LSZH yksimuotokuitu 9/125 OS2 kuitu-patchkaapeli duplex LC- ja SC-liittimillä

The ACT Fiber Patch Cable Duplex LC SC 30m is a 30-metre singlemode fiber optic cable designed for indoor network connections. It features a duplex construction with one LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other, supporting full duplex data transmission. The cable uses 9/125 µm OS2 singlemode fiber and an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket to reduce toxic fumes and corrosive gases in the event of fire, making it suitable for contained indoor environments and critical infrastructure.

Advantages

The cable's LSZH outer jacket enhances safety in enclosed spaces by emitting minimal smoke and no halogenated gases when exposed to fire. Using 9/125 µm OS2 singlemode fiber ensures low attenuation and stable optical performance over longer distances. The duplex LC–SC connector arrangement provides compatibility with a range of networking equipment and allows full duplex operation for simultaneous transmit and receive channels. The 30 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack, equipment-to-patch-panel, or room-to-room connections without excess cable slack.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects and equipment patching
• Telecommunications room cabling and backbone runs
• Fiber-to-the-room or fiber-to-the-rack indoor links
• Network closets and structured cabling installations

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Singlemode 9/125 µm (OS2)
• Configuration: Duplex (two fibers)
• Connectors: LC on one end, SC on the other end
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Cable length: 30 metres
• Transmission mode: Full duplex

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before insertion and, if necessary, clean with approved fiber cleaning tools. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for singlemode 9/125 fibre. Insert the LC and SC connectors into compatible ports until they click or seat firmly; ensure proper orientation where applicable. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate management hardware such as trays, clips or ties to prevent strain on connectors and to maintain optical performance.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fiber patch cable in a dry environment and avoid twisting or exceeding the specified bend radius. Use LC/SC-compatible adapters or transceivers to match equipment ports, and perform optical loss testing after installation to verify link performance.
