How to use

Install the ACT 50 m SFP+ Active AOC Twinax Cable by inserting SFP+ connectors into the SFP+ ports of the two devices to be linked. Ensure both devices are powered down or follow hot-plug procedures recommended by the device vendor. After insertion, the cable should be recognised automatically if the equipment supports compatible SFP+ AOC modules. Check link status on connected devices and adjust interface settings as needed for speed and duplex.

Recommendations

Use this 50 m AOC cable for direct SFP+ interconnects within racks or between adjacent racks in data centres. Verify compatibility with your network equipment vendor documentation (for example Cisco compatibility lists) and avoid tight bends or mechanical strain to maintain optical/electrical integrity.
