ACT DisplayPort–MTP/MPO-adapterisarja DisplayPort-yhteyden laajentamiseen 8K@60Hz asti

Extend an 8K DisplayPort signal up to 300 meters using the ACT DisplayPort to MTP/MPO adapter set (AK4165). The adapter set supports DisplayPort video up to 8K@60Hz over OM3/OM4 MTP/MPO fiber cables with polarity B, using modular transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) units that can be interchanged for flexible installations. The adapters use fiber optics to preserve bandwidth and resist electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.

Advantages

Using OM3/OM4 MTP/MPO fiber maintains optimal signal integrity, bandwidth and speed across the full run (with OM4 up to 300 meters; OM3 up to 100 meters). Data and video are transmitted over fiber, so the signal is immune to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). The TX and RX modules are interchangeable, enabling bidirectional use by swapping cable ends instead of replacing the whole cable. The adapter set is compatible with male DisplayPort connectors and meets CE and UKCA standards.

Suitable for

• Extending DisplayPort video connections up to 8K@60Hz over long distances
• Professional AV installations and broadcast environments requiring EMI/RFI immunity
• Data center or structured-cabling setups using OM3/OM4 MTP/MPO fiber with polarity B

How to use

Install the TX unit at the source with a male DisplayPort connection and the RX unit at the display. Connect the TX and RX using an OM3/OM4 MTP/MPO fiber cable with polarity B. For bidirectional use, exchange the TX and RX cable ends rather than replacing modules. Verify DisplayPort settings on source and display for 8K@60Hz and ensure the fiber run length is within OM3/OM4 limits.

Recommendations

Use OM4 fiber for runs approaching 300 meters to guarantee full 8K@60Hz performance; for shorter runs OM3 is acceptable up to 100 meters. Protect fiber connectors from dust and physical stress and confirm polarity B alignment when terminating or testing the MTP/MPO cable.
