ACT harmaa 1 m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datakeskuksen Slimline-patchkaapeli ilman lukituskielekettä RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Grey 1 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A patch cable is a slimline datacenter Ethernet cable with snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts. Its outer diameter is reduced compared with regular CAT6A patch cords, allowing a smaller bending radius and improved airflow inside network cabinets. The cable uses U/FTP shielding for enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and is intended for high-speed data transmission in tight rack and patching environments.

Advantages

The slimline 3.8 mm diameter reduces cable bulk and helps maintain cabinet airflow compared with standard 5.9 mm CAT6A cords. U/FTP shielding and gold-plated contacts provide reliable signal integrity and corrosion resistance. The LSZH jacket lowers toxic fume emission in case of fire. The 32 AWG conductor option enables a thinner construction, though it increases attenuation at higher frequencies and affects recommended permanent link length.

Suitable for

• Datacenter patching and top-of-rack connections
• Tight cable management runs and high-density racks
• Short permanent link lengths where slim cables are required
• Environments requiring LSZH jackets

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6A U/FTP
• Length: 1 m
• Conductor gauge: 32 AWG (slimline construction)
• Outer diameter: approx. 3.8 mm (slimline)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: LSZH
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network device and the other to the patch panel, switch or outlet. Route the cable through the rack or horizontal tray, maintaining gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks. Use cable management accessories to keep runs organized and to preserve airflow. For optimal performance, follow standard installation practices for CAT6A cabling and ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched.

Recommendations

ACT recommends using shorter permanent link lengths than with regular 24 AWG patch cords to accommodate the higher attenuation of 32 AWG conductors. For PoE applications, limit bundled cables to a maximum of 24 to avoid excessive temperature rise; ANSI TSB-184-A limits the center cable temperature increase to less than 15 °C above ambient.
