ACT keltainen 7 metriä LSZH U/UTP CAT6 datakeskuksen slimline-patchkaapeli napsautussuojalla ja RJ45-liittimillä

ACT Yellow 7 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 datacenter patch cable RJ45 is a slimline CAT6 U/UTP cable with a 7 m length and yellow LSZH jacket, designed for use in datacenter and network cabinet environments. The cable uses RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and snagless boots, and its reduced diameter (approx. 3.8 mm) provides improved rack airflow compared to regular CAT6 patch cords.

Advantages

The slimline construction reduces cable diameter and bending radius, which helps improve airflow in server racks and network cabinets. The LSZH jacket lowers smoke emission for safer indoor installation. Gold-plated contacts ensure reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The cable meets CAT6 performance characteristics suitable for high-speed data transmission, while the U/UTP design keeps pair unshielded for typical structured cabling systems.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (switch, server or patch panel) and the other RJ-45 end to the corresponding port. Route the cable through the rack or cabinet following standard cable-management practices to maintain the reduced bending radius. Ensure connectors are fully seated and locking tabs engage. For best performance, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force when installing the cable.

Recommendations

ACT recommends using a maximum bundle size of 24 slimline CAT6 cables in PoE deployments to limit temperature rise; this helps keep the center cable temperature increase below the ANSI TSB-184-A limit of 15 °C above ambient. Note that 28 AWG patch cords are possible but increase attenuation, especially at higher frequencies, so adhere to application and distance requirements when selecting cable gauge.
