ACT oranssi 1 metri U/UTP CAT6A patch-kaapeli snagless RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Orange 1 meter U/UTP CAT6A patch cable with RJ45 connectors is a single-meter network cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. It complies with CAT6A performance characteristics and uses unshielded U/UTP construction suitable for typical home and office environments. The cable features snagless RJ45 plugs with gold-plated contacts to help maintain stable signal transmission and reduce contact corrosion over time. Its bright orange jacket makes cable routing and identification easier in patch panels and equipment racks.

Advantages

This CAT6A patch cable offers reliable data transfer rates for Gigabit Ethernet and improved performance margins compared with lower-category cables. The snagless design on the RJ45 connectors reduces the risk of clip breakage during installation and maintenance. Gold-plated contacts enhance electrical conductivity and resist oxidation, contributing to consistent connection quality. The 1 meter length provides a compact solution for short patching runs between devices or within network cabinets.

Suitable for

• Short connections between switches, routers and wall outlets
• Patch panel to network device links in office racks
• Home networking where a visible color-coded cable is preferred
• Temporary test setups and equipment bench connections

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6A
• Cabling: U/UTP (unshielded)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless style
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Supported link standard: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Color: orange

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the Ethernet port of your device and the other to the corresponding port on the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure plugs are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure mechanical and electrical contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinch points; maintain the natural curvature of the cable to preserve signal integrity. For patch panel installations, insert the cable into the intended port and verify link status via device LEDs or network diagnostics tools.

Recommendations

Use the 1 meter ACT Orange CAT6A cable for short, visible patching runs where clear color identification is needed. Avoid routing near high-voltage power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For longer runs or environments with high EMI, consider appropriate cable categories or shielded options.
